CONVERT FONTS TO VECTOR FORMAT

From time to time, customer’s submit art files that have fonts not contained in our system. This results in an Adobe Illustrator error message when the file is opened, warning that the “font is missing and a stock font will be substituted in its place’”. Needless to say, this means the text of your artwork won’t appear as you intended. To avoid this problem, be sure to always convert your text to vector art by using the “create outlines” tool.

Follow these simple steps to ensure the text will be preserved as you designed:

STEP #1 – Choose the Selection Tool (shortcut = “V”)
